Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct in-home or site consultations to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice on flooring options, including materials, styles, and installation techniques.

Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing the sale and post-sale follow-up.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.

Product Knowledge and Presentation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest flooring products, trends, and technologies.
- Present product samples, demonstrations, and quotations to clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on progress and performance.
- Manage scheduling and appointments effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
- Strong knowledge of flooring products, installation processes, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for results.
- Proficiency in using sales software and tools (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Previous experience as an independent contractor or in a commission-based sales role.
- Established network of contacts within the construction or home improvement industry.
- Commission-based with potential for high earnings based on performance.
