Responsibilities:
- Transports students to and from school in a safe manner.
- Appropriately operates the vehicles and equipment.
- Obeys all traffic laws and transportation practices outlined in the Driver Handbook, Company Policy, and local ordinances.
- Observes all mandatory safety regulations and keep all emergency exits clear of obstructions.
- Effectively handles the vehicle and students in adverse weather conditions.
- Relates well to students and staff.
- Inspects the vehicle before and after each route or activity trip.
- Maintains vehicle in clean condition and informs the Director of any routine maintenance or repairs required.
- Adheres to district health and safety policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- 3 years prior professional driving experience
- Must be able to work as part of a team and get along with various personalities.
- Pass DSS Background check.
- CDL (preferred)

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
