At ABC Toon Town II Educational Center, our program and research-based curriculum focus on the developmental needs of every child, from infancy through age 5. We designed classroom environments that are filled with love, support, and resources to promote maximum development and learning opportunities. Founded in 1998 from a home-based childcare setting, the same nurturing, family-oriented atmosphere was incorporated into our program's culture. We are a full-service child-care provider for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Additionally, we offer a full-day preschool program for children ages 3-to-5 years old (part-time options are available). For school-aged children, we offer before-and-after school care for children ages 5-to-12 years old. We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and the Villages of Oak Park and Hanover Park. In Oak Park, we are located in the heart of the Historic District of Oak Park and are steps away from the Chicago Transit Authority's (CTA) Green Line (Ridgeland stop). Our Hanover Park location is conveniently located on Army Trail Road (on the borders of Bartlett, Carol Stream and Bloomingdale).

To empower and motivate young learners to develop a positive sense of self through the use of developmentally appropriate practices. We concur with the early childhood philosophers Piaget and Vygotsky that children thrive and learn through play, and positive teacher interaction and facilitation. Through a combination of structured play, a balanced curriculum, and a warm, nurturing environment, our program is designed to help the children acquire the skills they need to become successful lifetime learners.
