Responsibilities Include:
· Develop creative programs and activities for groups of children with developmental disabilities
· Encourage the children to participation in in goal-orientated activities
· Work closely with families to provide information and skills necessary to enhance the development of the child
· Work with families and other service providers to achieve a child’s IFSP or EIP goals
· Provide services in a school-based daycare setting
· Daily data collection
· Maintain regular progress reports and attend meetings related to the child
- Oversee a group of 5-10 children as a lead teacher and direct the TA accordingly

Requirements:
· Certified in New York State as a Teacher of Special Education
· Students with Disabilities Birth-2 Certificate or
- LCSW or LMSW
- LCSW or LMSW
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Good technical skills and the ability to learn new databases
Preferred:
· Bilingual a plus
· Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and Special Instruction preferred but will train
· Experience working in home-based programs, schools or daycares
