About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Counter Sales representative at Kropf Lumber in Hesston, KS. As a family-owned business, we take pride in providing top-notch customer service and quality products to our community. In order to provide the best possible service our customers, we are looking for applicants with construction experience and/or knowledge of building products and how they are used. Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases, both in person and over the phone
Calling suppliers to find and order product
Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
Assist with inventory management and restocking

Requirements:

General knowledge of building materials and how they are used is Required
Previous retail or customer service experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Basic math and computer skills
Positive and outgoing demeanor

Compensation: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
