Job Title: Clinical Quality Audit Specialist
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· 3+ years of clinical EHR experience
· Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes
· Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology
· Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
· Ability to communicate effectively with diverse population
· Attention to detail and ability to proficiently read and interpret medical records
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions; must be able to think logically and critically
· Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills
· Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy & Security
· Proficiency in computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams
· Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (e.g. Epic, GE Centricity, NextGen etc.)
· Ability to work in a high-volume production environment
· Ability to perform audits within specified parameters of quality and timeliness
· Required: LVN, LPN, or RN
· Consideration for Certified Medical Coder (CPC) dependent on experience and competency assessment
