We are seeking a skilled Trimmer for our 1st shift operations. This role involves working in both the Scissor Trim Room and the Stoning Room, where you will be responsible for precise trimming, stoning, and finishing tasks to ensure that products meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Use scissors and other hand tools to trim excess material from products in the Scissor Trim Room, ensuring a clean and precise finish.
Operate stoning equipment to smooth and finish products in the Stoning Room, removing rough edges and ensuring a consistent, high-quality result.
Inspect products regularly during and after the trimming and stoning processes to verify they meet quality standards, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the maintenance of tools and stoning equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Track and record production data, including the quantity of products trimmed and stoned, to maintain accurate logs.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and address any issues that arise, contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a trimming, finishing, or related role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and precision in performing tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
