**Position:** Driver
**Responsibilities:**
- **Timely Transport:** Adhere strictly to the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Split-shift schedule with each shift lasting 1.5 to 2 hours.
- **Safety First:** Ensure that all passengers are safely secured in their seats with seat belts before driving.
- **Assist Passengers:** Get out of the van to help adults into and out of the vehicle, offering support and ensuring their comfort.
- **Comfort and Care:** Maintain a positive and supportive demeanor, making sure the environment within the van is welcoming and comfortable.
- **Time Management:** Demonstrate exceptional time management skills to ensure timely arrivals and departures, effectively balancing split shifts.
**Requirements:**
- **Valid Driver’s License:** Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- **Reliability:** Strong commitment to punctuality and consistency.
- **Compassion and Patience:** Ability to provide emotional support and understand the needs of individuals with autism.
- **Communication Skills:** Effective communication skills to interact respectfully with passengers and coordinate with program staff.
