Job Summary
The Health Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

Personal Care / ADLs
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication Reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow care-plan
Documentation/Charting

Qualifications

Current clean Background Check or be willing to obtain one
Ability to travel to Coquitlam
Access to Internet/mobile phone
Experience with Palliate or Hospice care is an asset
Personal care and transfer assistance experience is an asset

Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
