Job Title :Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Telemetry Neuro

Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions in a telemetry unit, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and neurological status using advanced telemetry equipment.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients with neurological disorders, such as stroke, seizures, and traumatic brain injuries, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Administer medications, including neuro-specific therapies, and manage IV lines, maintaining strict adherence to medication protocols and patient safety standards.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, recognizing and responding to abnormal patterns, and promptly communicating changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, including preparing patients for procedures, tests, and therapies.
- Educate patients and their families about their neurological condition, treatment options, and recovery process, providing guidance and support throughout their stay.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a telemetry, neuro, or critical care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong knowledge of neurological disorders, telemetry monitoring, and neuro-specific nursing care.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a commitment to providing patient-centered care in a specialized unit.
Compensation: $32.00 - $55.00 per hour
