Job Description: Inpatient Rehab Unit RN
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' progress, recognize changes in condition, and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, including self-care techniques, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and independence.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control policies and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a rehabilitation, acute care, or related setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
