Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform welding, grinding, and plasma cutting tasks according to project specifications/blueprints
- Use MIG and TIG welding processes to fabricate weldments
- Rig and assemble fabricated components to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Follow codes and standards to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Utilize magnetic drill, metal chop saws, grinders, and hand drills to complete tasks
Experience needed:
- Proven experience in fabricating and welding steel and aluminum, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting techniques
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to fabrication and welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Welder applicants will be scheduled to perform a weld test as part of their interview and will be required to provide their own helmet, welpers, and gloves.
Applicants must have a good work ethic and be willing to occasionally work overtime. 8+ hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Some weekends may be worked if overtime is needed. Fluent in English and Spanish would be a plus!
