Test Technician

The Test Technician will be responsible for testing, aligning, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying circuit boards to ensure they meet specified functionality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Test various circuit board chassis to meet customer specifications.
- Repair circuit boards down to the component level.
- Adjust and calibrate circuit boards to achieve desired functionality.
- Modify circuit board functions to meet specific requirements.
- Set up and use standard test apparatus and equipment to conduct functional and operational tests.
- Analyze and interpret test data to assess performance and reliability.
- Make adjustments to circuitry and components, recording the impact on unit performance.
- Complete documentation associated with testing and troubleshooting.
- Fabricate cables for use with test equipment and circuit boards as needed.

Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Proficiency with volt meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators.
- Strong background in electronics, particularly in Radio Frequency and digital electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
- Good deductive reasoning skills for troubleshooting.
- Mechanical aptitude with soldering skills.
- Open-minded and adaptable to perform all required tasks.
- Background in radio communication is a plus.
- Ability to use mechanical tools for the fabrication and assembly of chassis.
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
