Job Title: Automation Technician (Day & Night Shifts Available)
Location: Delhi, New York Shifts: • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (with a $2 night shift differential) Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLC). • Troubleshoot and maintain electronic and electrical equipment. • Install, test, modify, and repair automation equipment and control systems. • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70 E, and state regulations. • Collaborate with contractors and vendors for plant operations and project support. • Program and configure instruments such as pressure/temperature transmitters, RTDs, PLCs, and HMIs. • Diagnose and resolve electronic and mechanical malfunctions. • Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment. • Promote teamwork and adhere to health and safety regulations. • Troubleshoot plant instrumentation and automation equipment. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required; AS degree in industrial controls, technologies or related field preferred. • 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation/automation, or a combination of education and experience. • Advanced understanding of automated control systems, electronics, robotics, fiber optic sensors, and PLC programming. • PLC, HMI, or DCS certifications preferred. • Experience with CMMS Software and H.A.R.T. communication is a plus. • Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed. Compensation: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
