Back to You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation is looking for an energetic Part-time Licensed Massage Therapist who will provide and maintain the highest standard treatments to our patients. We have been recognized for our efforts as the 2019 “National Clinic of the Year” awarded by The American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Osteopractic treatment is designed to provide a holistic and evidence-based care path to patients with acute and chronic pain, disabilities, and illnesses that impact their quality of life. With only 300 Osteopractors world-wide, we use patient-centric care with hands-on approaches as their focus while using techniques supported by the most recent research available to target the biological, psychological, and sociological roots of the problem. As a premier health care provider in the Metro Detroit community, Back to You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation delivers expert injury rehabilitation, chronic pain treatment, nutrition education, and elite fitness training to patients of all ages.
The job role includes:
- Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their specific needs and preferences for massage therapy
- Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and acute pain management, to provide relief and relaxation to patients
- Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and address their concerns or questions
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals set by physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide exceptional patient service by creating a comfortable and welcoming environment The successful candidate must have the following attributes:

· Excellent communication skills
· Self motivated
· Responsible, dependable, high personal standards and values excellent client care, guest service and attention to detail
· Previous experience working within a professional or high standard spa environment
· Able to work in a team environment
· Evening availability and local clinic travel required
· Licensed Massage Therapist/ Active Michigan License required
· Cross trained in multiple services including PTA, Reflexology, Sports Massage, and Deep tissue qualifications highly preferred
Compensation: $40.00 per hour
