Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Transplant Cellular Therapy
Location: Gainesville, FL

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Transplant and Cellular Therapy team in Gainesville, FL. The RN will provide specialized care to patients undergoing stem cell transplants and cellular therapies, including CAR-T therapy. The role requires expertise in managing complex patient needs and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patient outcomes, manage side effects, and support the overall treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cellular therapies in compliance with treatment protocols.
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after stem cell transplants and cellular therapy procedures.
  • Provide education to patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-therapy care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, transplant coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions, graft versus host disease (GVHD), and other transplant-related complications.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Follow infection control practices and other safety protocols to protect immunocompromised patients.
  • Support patients through the transplant process, including pre- and post-transplant care, patient education, and discharge planning.
Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology, hematology, or transplant nursing.
  • ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong clinical skills in infusion therapy and managing complex patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Compensation: $26.00 - $38.00 per hour
