Future Opening: Warehouse Worker
Gutter Supply Inc. is a gutter supply and manufacturing company that is rapidly growing. We are seeking the perfect candidate who’s looking for a full time job and has experience in the warehouse industry. The right candidate would fulfill customers’ orders with quick and accurate selection of products and properly package them for shipping.
Warehouse Position: Packer/Puller of products
1st Shift (7am-4pm), Monday through Friday, Saturdays (seasonal)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
· Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
· Meets or exceeds performance or productivity goals.
· Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
· Ability to lift and or maneuver up to 75 lbs.
· Ability to drive a forklift (certification not required)
Position Requirements:
· High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
· Must be able to read, write and speak English, bilingual is a plus
· Must be able to communicate with Supervisor and comprehend instructions
· The ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift (8 hours or more)
· Requires to wear steel toe boots at all times
· Gutter Supply Inc. utilizes E-verify
· Must have basic mathematic skills (Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction)
Pay and Benefits
· All pay is per hour

History
GutterSupply.com's concept was conceived in 1964. Leroy (Bud) Woodruff, a firefighter at the time, started working for a sheet metal shop on his off-duty days. Little did he know at the time that this would eventually become his calling. Meticulous and obsessive, Bud embraced the trade and began providing the North Shore of Chicago with beautifully functional and durable working gutter systems and various sheet metal applications. The North Shore was a perfect fit for this tradesman in the making. Historic restorations were commonplace; attention to detail was a necessity, and meticulous craftsmanship a must.
Due to the extensive growth of the installation company, Bud and his sons began stockpiling materials in a small warehouse they originally purchased for a fabrication shop. Overflow of product and space deficiency soon became an issue. It was time to start selling this overflow to other installation companies in the area. Bud's integrity, knowledge of the products, reputation and long-term relationships quickly enabled him to begin turning over products on a regular basis. It is these attributions that became the building blocks of GutterSupply.com.
