Job Summary:
The Sales Assistant is an entry level position, allowing the right candidate the opportunity to learn the home automation industry and sales practices. Prior experience with sales, construction, and smart home technology preferred. 

The Sales Assistant will create proposals and help with project details for smart home automation systems including audio, video, lighting, voice/data, security, and control systems for high-end residences and some commercial spaces. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for accurately creating proposals while maintaining client relationships. The Sales Assistant will work closely with the Director of Design and Sales and the Project Manager in the office and will travel to job sites around the Denver area as well as homes in the mountains as needed. 
  • Understand fundamentals and wiring design specifications of system integration: A/V Distribution, Lighting Controls, Motorized Shading/Drapes, Residential/Business Networking, Security Alarm Systems, Surveillance, and Access Controls.

  • Ability to create custom smart home solutions
 
Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Create integrated technology proposals for high-end residential and commercial projects
  • Create structured wiring design schematics for custom residential/commercial projects.
  • Work closely with the installation and operations team to prepare for approved projects.
  • Work closely with clients; Builders, Architects, Interior Designers, and Homeowners to create integrated design plans, and manage proposals and sales updates
  • Create designs with software: Adobe Illustrator or AutoCAD
  • Ability to quickly learn about multiple home automation brands, software, and control systems (Control4, Lutron, Sonos, etc.)
  • Ability to memorize standardized products and model numbers
  • Must understand construction timelines and process for ongoing projects
  • Ability to grow business through company referrals and maintain client relationships
  • Must present themselves professionally on the job site, at client's homes, and on phone/video conferences
  • Work closely with Cinegration team to deliver sales details and updates
 
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
  • Clean driving record and background check

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
