- Be a licensed mental health therapist with a valid state of Utah license OR experienced pre-licensed therapist pursuing
- At least 1-2 years of prior clinical experience as a practicing therapist or behavioral health technician
- Prefer candidates have formal training in one or more of the following: Trauma modalities training/certification, IFS, DBT, ERP, ADHD, Autism, play therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, psychosis, addiction
- Have a general knowledge of insurance billing, clinical documentation, and available community resources.
- Part-time therapists must maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 12-15 clients
- Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
- Provide excellent customer service for clients
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals
- Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session
- Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings (In-person or remote)
- Compensation: $40-55/billable hour (plus, administrative pay for meeting attendance)
- Signing bonus for clinicians who bring an existing caseload of clients with them

Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time!
