RESPONSIBILITIES:

Completing a variety of handyman, home improvement and remodel projects
Completing light commercial repairs and build-outs
Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks
Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service
Representing House Doctors in the local community, and networking with potential customers as needs arise

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 8+ years of experience with more than 5 as a lead carpenter.

Extensive knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and tools a must.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have own hand tools.
Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
The ability to safely operate power tools.
Excellent time management skills.
Effective communication skills.

Must have some or most of the following experiences:

Competing home repair and remodel jobs independently from start to finish
Working as part of a team or Lead projects, such as kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.
Performing all carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry.
Installing cabinets, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, including minor electrical and plumbing.
Installing, mudding, and finishing drywall.
Preparing and paint wall, ceilings, and trim.
Installing and repair decks, siding, and fascia
Installing interior and exterior doors.
Communicate with clients, setting expectations and effectively address scope changes.
Accurately estimate labor, time, and materials needed for each project.
Follow project schedules to ensure production.
Manage construction materials needed for projects as needed.
Maintaining accurate records of work done, including receipt and change orders.
