ACE Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, driven, and skilled Intensive Home-Based Therapy (IHBT) Therapist to join our dedicated clinical team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families heal, grow, and thrive—right in their home and community environments.
As an IHBT Therapist, you will play a vital role in stabilizing crises, strengthening family systems, and promoting long-term emotional and behavioral wellness through intensive, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide in-home and community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and their families experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized, family-centered treatment plans grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
- Deliver crisis intervention, stabilization services, and skill-building strategies that empower families and promote resilience.
- Collaborate with case managers, schools, medical providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Track and document client progress accurately and timely in accordance with clinical, ethical, and agency standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, case conferences, and supervision.
- Provide psychoeducation and guidance to caregivers to strengthen support systems and reinforce therapeutic goals.
- Offer on-call crisis support as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development to stay current with best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
- Active Ohio licensure (LSW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or equivalent).
- At least two (2) years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
- Strong foundation in evidence-based interventions, trauma-informed care, and crisis response.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for home and community visits.
Work Environment:
- Services are delivered primarily in clients’ homes and community settings.
- Flexible scheduling is required, including some evenings and weekends, to best meet family needs.
