The mission of the Crossfit Paleolith Box is to bring excellent service to each of our members and guests, adding not only physical fitness, but more value to their lives. It is vitally important that each coach renders a professional service for their professional development and the fulfillment of this mission.
This position will report to the Crossfit Paleolith Head Coach and will work as a team to maintain a high level of customer service and promote the Crossfit Paleolith community and its many benefits.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deep knowledge in creating effective and varied WODs that challenge our clients to reach and exceed their personal expectations.
  • Constructive and motivating attitude for all athletes during the execution of each class.
  • Use an explanatory and demonstrative method in each exercise.
  • Evaluate clients while exercising and advise them on proper form to avoid injury – every client should receive personalized attention in each class.
  • Be open and receptive to questions and criticisms that clients may have before or after training.
  • Preparation and punctuality for each class – zero distractions during the training session including, but not limited to, cell phone use or visits.
  • Foster an environment of harmony and respect at all times – inappropriate comments and vocabulary will not be tolerated.
  • Good presence and properly uniformed with the shirts of the Box.
EDUCATION & ASSESSMENT
  • Crossfit Paleolith coaches must possess an L1 certification or equivalent Crossfit certification. Previous experience as a highly valued coach or personal trainer.
  • Each coach will be evaluated every six months – the evaluation will take into account the following:
     
    • Continuing education in the area of Crossfit and/or Fitness. Crossfit Paleolith has a list of certifications and seminars that are accepted.
    • Participation in Crossfit competitions on behalf of the Box.
    • Retention of members and attitude during classes.
