Arts Teacher
Part-Time Position (possible turn into full time)
Location: S6 County, New Jersey
Hours: Once a week, Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour (starting and will grow base on tenurity)
About the Position:
We are seeking a passionate and creative arts teacher to join our team and share their love of art with our employees during their recreational time . This is a part-time position, working one day per week on Thursdays.
Responsibilities:
- Ready to start ASAP
- Plan and implement engaging art lessons that cater to our employees of all ages and skill levels.
- Provide instruction in various artistic techniques and mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and printmaking.
- Encourage students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic talents.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with art-related projects and events.
Qualifications:
- Minimal experience teaching art to students of all ages.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for art and a desire to inspire others.

Community Based Supports
Open Arms provide community based programs that address positive health behaviors and wellness. Habits and attitudes toward behavioral health are shaped through strengthening the relationships within families as well as the community.
Supported Employment
Open Arms provide job development & application development, resume/cover letter development, interview preparation and contact with employers. We also provide Job coaching assistance to help learn tasks & workplace adjustments.
Transportation
Our professional transport staff have the knowledge and training to ensure our clients are treated with compassion and respect throughout the duration of the ride. We provide transport solutions to and from low, medium and highly secure settings.
Behavior Supports
Our behavioral support plans are individually designed by certified BCBA's. Our plans assist clients in building positive behaviors to replace and reduce challenging behaviors.
