We are seeking either an HHA or CNA for an ongoing contract in our Medical Staffing section of BrightStar Care! This would consist of between 20-30 hours spread out over the course of 3-4 days weekly. We are in need of someone passionate about the healthcare field and to provide the best quality care for our clients. The task list consists of companionship and basic ADLs. You will be caring for multiple clients in a day, which will require some traveling in between. We do provide mileage pay. If this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today!

Role Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
