Job Summary:
Delicate Homecare Agency is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) with Trach and/or Vent experience to join our team. We are looking for dedicated nurses to work with a few cases including urgent need to fill our school cases during the day and for weekend shifts. This role provides an opportunity to deliver high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their homes, making a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs.
- Assist with personal care and monitor the patient's vital signs.
- Administer medications and maintain knowledge of medication reactions and dosage requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide thorough patient assessments and report changes in patient condition to the supervising care team.
- Assist physicians and other medical staff during care when needed.
- Ensure all charting and documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with agency policies.
- Be dependable and punctual for all scheduled shifts.
Qualifications:
Active RN License in good standing.
Trach/Vent Experience is required.
Proven hands-on care experience, preferably in a homecare setting.
Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, respectful, and ethical in providing patient care.
