HHA Responsibilities:
In the role of a HHA, the primary responsibility involves providing essential support for daily living activities and personal care services in adherence to the patient's prescribed care regimen. These responsibilities may include:
1. Companionship is the provision of emotional support and engagement in conversation to address patients' feelings of loneliness and isolation.
2. Daily Living Activities/Household Support
3. Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare and provide nutritious meals under the dietary restrictions outlined in the care plan.
4. Personal Care Services
5. Mobility Support: Assistance with ambulation and ensuring safety.
6. Patient Monitoring
7. Medication Reminders

Qualifications and Skills:
Certification as a Home Health Aide
Demonstrated reliability and dependability
Previous experience in Home Care, nursing, or caregiving is advantageous
Proficient in communication, with a compassionate and patient approach
Capable of working independently while adhering to care plans and instructions
Committed to upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Flexibility to effectively meet the evolving needs of patients
Able to establish a secure environment for clients
Certification as a Home Health Aide
Demonstrated reliability and dependability
Previous experience in Home Care, nursing, or caregiving is advantageous
Proficient in communication, with a compassionate and patient approach
Capable of working independently while adhering to care plans and instructions

HHA Requirements for Hiring:
Home Health Aide Certification
2 Forms of ID, Government ID, Work Authorization, etc.
Physical Assessment within the last 12 months to include TB Screening (Quantiferon/PPD Testing
Proof of Immunization of MMR
Flu & COVID vaccines, if received

Compensation: $19.77 - $21.00 per hour
