Job Title: A & P Mechanic (Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic) based in Apopka, FL and/or Rutherfordton, NC
Company Information: leader in aerial powerline construction
Salary: $58,000/year – working 50 hr. work weeks- Typically 8-hour shift Monday to Friday, plus $50/day in field and $75 per diem when traveling

Ideal candidate: Responsible, dependable, punctual, engaged, newly trained A&P mechanic
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- FAA A&P certified
- Able to accommodate travel
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance or designee.
- Maintain clean, organized working environment.
- Be a team player
- Complete tasks to help support successful mechanics (shipping/receiving, inventory, cleaning hanger, etc.)
- Inspect and test systems, component parts used and sign for work performed.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which technician is assigned and qualified.
- Report all inoperative or faulty equipment to the maintenance supervisor in charge.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is typically performed in an aircraft hangar and travel will be involved. Subject to standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting or pushing of objects up to 50 pounds at times.
- May occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme noise, and physical harm in areas requiring hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed safety shoes.
Compensation: $58,000.00 per year
