Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Technician to join the team at our successful clinic for full-time. Park Hill Vet is a team-driven veterinary practice offering high-touch care for our patients in a high-tech environment. Looking for a skilled veterinary technician who enjoys working with clients and patients to provide personalized, quality care. We are also AAHA-accredited! Must like a fast-paced environment with fun and funny co-workers. Experience with Idexx and Cornerstone are a huge plus. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. Responsibilities
- Triage pets as they arrive at the clinic
- Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history
- Take vital signs and acquire blood samples
- Induce and monitor patients under anesthesia
- Assist with surgeries and perform competent dental cleanings
- Experienced in taking digital dental radiographs
- Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients
- Keep accurate digital patient records
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of animal care and handling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment
- Patience and a love for animals
Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
