Job Summary:
The State Farm Agent Intern will assist the State Farm agent and team in various tasks related to insurance sales, customer service, and business operations. This role provides an opportunity to learn about the insurance industry, develop professional skills, and gain practical experience. The intern will participate in training programs and work closely with the agent to understand the business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:
- Assist in generating insurance quotes and preparing proposals for clients.
- Support the sales team in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims processing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records.

Marketing and Outreach:
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns and outreach efforts to attract new clients.
- Participate in community events and networking activities to promote State Farm services.
- Develop social media content and other marketing materials.

Administrative Tasks:
- Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies and organizing workspaces.
- Schedule appointments and manage the agent’s calendar.

Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs and workshops to gain knowledge about insurance products and services.
- Study for and work towards obtaining necessary insurance licenses.
- Learn about State Farm policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Licensing:
- Willingness to study for and obtain necessary state insurance licenses during the internship.

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles is a plus but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
