About the Role:

We are seeking a CAD Operator/Programmer to join our team at Delta Steel: Houston. As a key player in our Processing department, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

Create and modify CAD drawings and models for structural steel components
Program CNC machinery for steel fabrication
Collaborate with CNC machine operators and sales team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
Perform quality checks on drawings and parts to meet industry standards
Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software such as Sigmanest, Pronest, Vacam, Solid Works
Understanding of dwg, dxf, and pdf shop drawings
Experience in CNC programming and operation
Knowledge of structural steel and fabrication processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
2-5 years of experience
