Hiring! School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the Oakland, CA region!
We are seeking full—or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) in person for school-based assignments in Oakland or Richmond, CA. Join our team in treating students and assisting with caseload management of 40 scholars, approximately grades K-6th or 6th-12th.
Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and NPA (Non-public agency) with decades of experience providing quality speech services in pediatrics. We offer a team approach grounded in education and practice resulting from a life-long commitment to continuing education and excellence in service delivery to children with special needs in schools, homes, and in-clinic. Responsibilities:
- Implement direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of an SLP.
- Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.
- Update student progress twice yearly.
- Research-related speech and language problems.
- Assist in scheduling IEP meetings and maintaining speech files.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Valid, current California Speech-Langugae Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Speech Pathology or a Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders.
- In-person: Must be able to work on-site, in-person
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, collaborative demeanor with a desire to work with diverse populations.
- Exercise good judgment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with staff.

- Competitive Pay: $39.00 - $55.00 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus.
