Soccer Shots Knoxville is looking for a passionate part-time soccer coach to serve children ages 2-8 during the week.

What We Offer:
- Competitive Compensation- Starting rate for coaches is $18 per 30-45 min session. Number of sessions dependent upon your availability. Earn performance bonuses each season as well as raises in session pay.
- Training - We offer a paid comprehensive training program to learn Soccer Shots’ curriculum, developmentally appropriate coaching techniques, and best practices.
- Flexibility – With sessions happening all throughout the day, we offer flexible scheduling year-round (winter/spring/summer/fall), about 44 weeks out of the year.

The Job:
- Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity, while following our curriculum designed to engage children on their level.
- Conduct soccer sessions for children ages 2 to 8 years old, at various locations across the Knoxville area. We operate Monday - Friday throughout the day as well as Saturday mornings.
- Day time availability 9-11a and/or 2:30-4p required. Other availability welcomed if looking for additional work.
- Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
- Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching/education techniques in every session.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, following all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
Qualifications:
- No prior sports/coaching experience required.
- Genuine passion for children and sports.
- Energetic, engaging, responsible, relentless, and scrappy.
- Safety conscious.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8. (you must be a child-whisperer)
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Basic level of fitness. Ability to stand, jog, carry equipment, and model children’s soccer skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Our coaches are at the heart of what we do, our real MVPs if you will. They create smiles and deliver character-building FUN by teaching age-appropriate soccer skills to kids in the local community.

- Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
- Curriculum – Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
- Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We’re a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
- Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. It’s why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks and community centers.
