FLEX Residential Counselor
Mental Health Recovery Services (MHRS)

$18.00-$20.00 (Plus FLEX Differential and Mileage)
We’re looking for inspiring team members who enjoy bringing out the best in people and are especially motivated to work with adults in mental health recovery. Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team promoting a model of treatment informed by the principles of person-centered planning, trauma-informed and strength-based service provision, and the belief in, and support for, resiliency, hope and recovery.
As a Flex Counselor, you will:
- Help create a supportive, homelike environment for the individuals in our residence;
- Assist program participants in making plans to meet their specific recovery goals;
- Restore and teach daily living skills; and
- Engage participants in meaningful activity in the house and in the community;
- Write daily shift notes and other communications.
You’re someone who has:
- CPR and 1st Aid Certifications.
- Must be MAP Certified
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be willing to travel throughout Franklin/Hampshire to various programs
- One year experience working as a Residential Counselor
- Basic computer / office skills (daily reports / communications)
Pay & Benefits
We offer a starting hourly wage of $18.00/hour— plus a $2.00 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification. We provide paid orientation and training for certification in Medication Administration Program (MAP), CPR & First Aid, and Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC) if applicable.
