About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hull, Mechanical & Electrical Warfare Systems T&E Specialist to join our team at Core Services Group in Norfolk, VA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the maritime industry and make a significant impact in the field.

  • CVN Deck Department
  • CVN General Arrangements
  • CVN Damage Control
  • Machinery Control and Monitoring System
  • Survivability
  • CVN 78 Vulnerability Assessment Report (VAR)
  • CVN 78 Total Ship Survivability Test (TSST)
  •  Full Ship Shock Trial (FSST)
  • Auxiliary Equipment
  • CVN 78 Zonal Electrical Distribution System (ZEDS)
  • CVN 78 unique electrical generation requirements
  • Navigation
Requirements:
  • Experience in marine engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have working knowledge of processes and procedures for range scheduling and test surrogate applications.
  • Must have experience (5 of the last 8 years) with the Navy and multi-service missions, operations, logistics, management, and organizational responsibilities
  • Must have working knowledge of the DoD 5000 series, OPNAVINST 5000.42 series, as well as SECNAVINST 5000 series instructions.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to interact effectively within the naval community and have a demonstrated ability to communicate the results of the op analysis to sponsoring activities and decision makers.
  • Must have working knowledge of DOE and expertise in entry/extraction of data within the OPTEVFOR IEF database tool.
  • -Or proficiency within 3 months of contract award.
  • Completed OPTEVFOR Operational Basic Course (OBC).
  • -Or can complete OPTEVFOR Operational Basic Course (OBC) within three months of contract award.
  • Previous operational test experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.
