Job Summary
- Reporting to General Manager
- Quality assure the coaching schedule, staffing, training and delivery of the D1-Way of group fitness classes and personal training.
- Facilitate adult consultations for goal setting and follow-up with periodic check in meetings to assure measurable progress
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all adult clients by coaching up to 3 morning group class shifts.
- Maximize adult client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Build and maintain relationships with adult and scholastic population
- Oversee team training at D1 and on-campus.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
- Reduce an adult’s risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
Minimum Qualifications
- Displays passion to lead
- Current Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification (Required). Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) (Preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of adult strength & conditioning-related experience in class-based group and personal training setting (Required)
- Minimum of 1-year related experience having worked within physical therapy practice (Preferred)
- Background in nutritional coaching (Preferred)
- Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a related field (Preferred)
- Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification (Required)
