We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Eating Disorder Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating individuals with a variety of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. You will play a crucial role in helping clients develop healthier relationships with food and their bodies through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on eating disorder recovery, body image, and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dietitians, medical professionals, and support staff, to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Stay current with developments in the field of eating disorders and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Provide support and resources for families and loved ones of clients.
- Maintain a caseload of 25 patients per week
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)in Texas is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with eating disorders.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for eating disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to therapy.
