Responsibilities:
- Ensure the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (theatrical, storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.)
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche.
- Collaborate with other educators.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
- Proficient Knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- CDA, Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
- At least 3 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

New team members partner with an established fellow team member to learn how best to fulfill their role as an early education specialist, to get to know the families we serve, and quickly grow from newbie to expert.
