Position Overview
Join our growing team as a Water Damage Restoration Technician and Restoration Laborer! We specialize in water damage restoration, fire damage repair, mold remediation, and emergency restoration services. No experience required - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and professional development.
What We Do
Certified Restoration Mission is San Diego's leading disaster restoration company, serving residential and commercial clients with:
- Water damage restoration and flood cleanup
- Fire damage restoration and smoke damage repair
- Mold remediation and moisture control
- Emergency restoration services 24/7
- Property restoration using state-of-the-art technology
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification
- Demolition of water-damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation)
- Content cleaning, pack-out services, and debris removal
- Operate restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters)
- Vehicle maintenance and equipment care
- Job site cleanup and warehouse organization
- Inventory management and supply loading
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Provide customer service with empathy during crisis situations
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical fitness - ability to lift 50+ lbs (fitness test required)
- Background check clearance (FBI)
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible scheduling
Preferred Experience:
- Construction experience or trades background
- Restoration industry knowledge
- Demolition or renovation experience
- Customer service skills
