Medical Records Clerk needed at a Hospital in Costa Mesa, CA
Compensation:$26/hr
Duration: 3-6 months, renewable
Job Summary:
-Answers telephone and responds according to department policy.
-Keeps supervisor informed of issues/concerns that may arise.
-Additional duties may include accurately analyze records for deficiencies; manage all aspects of the clerical transcription process; works various work queues in the EMR.
Required Skills & Experience:
-One year of clerical experience required including working with calculations and phone systems.
-Basic experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
-One year of medical record experience required.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
