This role will also have a strong focus on staff leadership and the execution of restoration activities, particularly related to content restoration.

**Position Overview:**  

As the **Operations Manager**, you will oversee business operations, manage day-to-day activities, and play a crucial role in both driving sales and leading internal teams. Your role will involve:

 - Building relationships with Mitigation, Construction, and Property Management companies to generate leads and grow the business.

- Overseeing the staff, ensuring high performance, providing leadership, and maintaining a collaborative environment.

- Managing all aspects of content restoration, from pack-outs to inventory, and ensuring that all projects meet the highest quality standards.

- Leading operational processes, including scheduling, warehouse management, and team training, while ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.

This position is ideal for someone with a combination of sales experience, leadership skills, and a passion for operations and restoration.

**Key Responsibilities:**

 **Sales and Business Development:**

- **Client Acquisition & Relationship Building**: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, including Mitigation Company owners, technicians, and office personnel, as well as Construction/Reconstruction and Property Management companies.

- **Networking & Community Outreach**: Actively represent the company at local networking events, trade shows, and other business development opportunities to generate new leads and increase brand visibility.

- **Sales Strategy**: Drive sales and business growth by identifying opportunities, creating action plans, and executing strategies to expand our customer base. Collaborate with senior leadership to refine sales tactics and meet revenue goals.

- **On-Site Participation**: If needed, participate in initial site inspections for new losses to better understand client needs and ensure our services meet expectations.

 **Staff Management & Leadership:**

- **Team Supervision**: Lead a team of technicians, drivers, and support staff. Provide direction and mentorship to ensure all staff members are trained, motivated, and equipped to meet operational goals.

- **Training & Development**: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and collaboration. Ensure all team members understand their roles and execute processes to meet customer needs.

- **Performance Monitoring**: Track staff performance, provide regular feedback, and create an environment for growth, learning, and continuous improvement.

 **Operational Excellence & Content Restoration:**

- **Content Pack-Outs & Delivery**: Oversee content pack-out projects, ensuring that the proper procedures are followed for sorting, inventorying, and safely packing textiles, electronics, art, and other valuables. 

  - Lead the team in effective pack-out processes while maintaining the integrity of items.

  - Ensure all items are securely packaged and wrapped according to company standards for transportation and delivery.

- **Warehouse Management & Inventory Control**: Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize and maintain a clean, efficient workspace. Ensure inventory of tools, materials, and equipment is properly managed and accessible.

- **Process Optimization**: Ensure that all content restoration processes (such as inventory, cleaning, and storage) are executed with efficiency and meet quality standards. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize workflow.

- **Customer Interaction**: Maintain professional communication with homeowners, adjusters, and contractors. Act as a liaison to ensure that customer expectations are met and projects are completed on time and to satisfaction.

 
 **Marketing & Digital Presence:**

- **Content Creation**: Gather and create content for the company’s digital media platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.

- **Brand Representation**: Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring all customer interactions and public-facing materials are consistent with the company’s values and messaging.

**Job Requirements:**

- High school diploma (college degree preferred)

- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals (experience in restoration or a similar field is a plus)

- Minimum of 3 years of management experience, preferably in a service-oriented or fast-paced industry

- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record (local travel required)

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others

- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
