Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need.

Duties

- Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with medication reminders
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
- Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring individuals
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment

Skills

- Experience caring for bedbound patients and using Hoyer lift is required
- Knowledge of dementia care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Proficiency in meal preparation and following dietary guidelines
- Familiarity with direct support systems and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and their families

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Payrate: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

-Caregiving: 3 years (Required)
-Bed bound: 3 years (Required)
-Dementia Care (Required)
-Hospice Care (Required)
-Alzheimer's Care (Required)
-Manual Patient Handling
-Hoyer Lift
-Gait Belt

-License/Certification:
-Driver's License (Required)
-CPR Certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:
-8am-12noon (Required)
-7:30am - 12:30pm (Required)

Ability to Commute:
South County, Kirkwood MO (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
Kirkwood and South County, MO: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
