- Manage Group Exercise Instructors and Group Exercise operations
- In the event that a Group Exercise Instructor cannot fulfill a scheduled class, coordinate to find a qualified/approved substitute
- Partner with General Manager to execute club initiatives
- Monthly/Quarterly Program Launches
- Attend all required Gym staff meetings
- Ensure GGX Instructors follow proper time recording procedures are followed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Manage GGX Club Schedule, GGX class attendance, and GGX Instructor weekly class totals
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards his/her responsibilities, fellow employees, and members.
- Promote Gold’s Gym and GGX as much as possible
- At least 2 years teaching in a group exercise format.
- Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with multiple specialized skills such as Yoga, Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, etc. must provide verifiable proof of education.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and perform at least 2 classes in club per week
- Group fitness certification by ACE, AFAA, ACSM
- Current CPR certification and basic first aid training is required
- Functional computer skills are required, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Physical demands include, but are not limited to the ability to lift light weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning and kicking.
