About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our combination projects, including managing cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Your goal is to anticipate and mitigate problems, manage financial and administrative tasks, and foster strong relationships with clients, builders, vendors, and internal departments.
You will be at the heart of project operations, guiding your teams to successfully deliver integrated solutions that meet client expectations while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of Project managers, technicians and project leads across Electrical, AV, Lighting Control, and Shades disciplines.
Project Execution: Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and project profitability. Ensure timely delivery by coordinating with design, sales, and purchasing teams.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and key stakeholders, ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat business.
Problem Solving: Proactively anticipate project challenges, creatively problem solve, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
Administration & Reporting: Manage project details using iPoint and Bluebeam, ensure accurate project reporting, and keep all stakeholders informed through regular updates.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in project management with a background in residential construction in single family homes.
Skills: Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Leadership: Proven track record in mentoring and leading teams while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Technical Knowledge: Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and project management tools like iPoint and Bluebeam. Solid understanding of electrical, AV, lighting, and shading systems.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Strategic Thinking: Experience in strategic planning, negotiation, and vendor relations.
