Crew Lead
SUMMARY: The Crew Lead (Foreman) is responsible for supervising, training, and setting a good example for installation technicians. The Crew Lead will be responsible for all customer interaction, as well as distributing job responsibilities on each job site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leads team of installers in the day-to-day installation of insulation and customer service.
• Installs foam insulation in walls of existing residential homes.
• Installs loose fiberglass insulation or batt insulation in attic, crawlspace, or other areas of the home.
• Installs ventilation and other peripheral products in homes
• Schedules service calls to meet the schedule of both the homeowner and the Company.
• Manages inventory for all materials, parts, etc. and places supply orders to replenish and maintain
inventory of materials, parts, etc.
• Maintains, troubleshoots and corrects any mechanical problems with any and all insulation installation
equipment.
• Trains and educates new hires and current employees on all facets of insulation installation.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS or DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two or more years supervisory and installation or similar industry experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work order. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with General Manager, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
• Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. 
• Other Qualifications - Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered under company insurance is required; must be able to travel to job sites 30-50% of the time; Overnight stays may be necessary. CDL preferred and paid extra.

All products and equipment are stored in its proper location. All safety guards and other safety devices are in its proper location, are functional, and utilized effectively on a consistent basis. Standard operating procedures, safety work rules and good general manufacturing practices are followed on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to frequently move about the job site and access tools, equipment, parts, and other necessary items to complete work. They must be able to detect install issues and determine what action needs to be taken. The individual occasionally positions self to operate and conduct minor vehicle maintenance and adjustments. They use their hands continuously while performing job duties. They must be able to ascend/descend ladders to complete installation work. Most activities involve fine and gross manipulation of items. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in
the office and on the jobsite. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work and others work for errors and make adjustments as necessary. They must regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 75 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual occasionally works in a controlled climate. They may be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions; fumes or airborne particles air while visiting job sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to exposure to tools and machinery on the jobsite they may be required to wear personal protective equipment.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensación: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
