About Ross Bridges, Managing Partner:
Ross Bridges brings a unique blend of experiences to VBM Law. Ross holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Spanish and he served in the United States Marine Corps, including a deployment in Iraq. He and his family are active members of the Crossing Church in Columbia and since 2011 Ross continues to make a significant impact as a board member and volunteer with Welcome Home, Inc., a nonprofit providing transitional housing for homeless military veterans. Ross is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and focuses his practice in the areas of workers’ compensation, insurance subrogation law and the civil liability defense of public entities. He also serves as a mentor to VBM team members, fostering growth and career advancement across multiple functions. Ross enjoys all things outdoors and Mizzou sports.

Legal Assistant Position Overview:
The Legal Assistant's contributions at VBM are vital to overall success, playing an indispensable role in daily operations. We are looking for someone who is efficient, innovative, punctual, dependable, honest, hardworking, energetic, and brings a positive attitude to the team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our attorneys and paralegals, ensuring the smooth flow of our legal processes. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, filing correspondence, calendaring, organizing documents, proofreading, expense tracking, drafting documents, and facilitating communication between attorneys and relevant parties. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of all legal activities.
