About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Admin to join our team at Sugar Steel Corporation in Chicago Heights, IL. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Prioritize and schedule inbound shipments based on sales and operational needs.
Manage the pre-receiving process to ensure readiness for incoming goods.
Commit and verify the accuracy of receiving verifications against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
Assist in MTR (Mill Test Report) scanning and resolving any discrepancies with MTRs.
Prepare and print shipping labels for outgoing orders.
Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel).
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
