We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to provide care and assistance to older adults in their home, in the NEW HAVEN area. The caregiver will live in the client's home during their shift, providing ongoing care and ensuring their well-being.
CAR REQUIRED
Timetable
1)Monday 4pm - 7pm
2) Wednesday 4 PM - 7PM
3) Friday 4pm- 8pm
4) Saturday 9am - 4pm
5) Sunday 9 am - 4 pm
Main Responsibilities:
- Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. If you need
- Assist with meal preparation and service, including special diets if needed.
- Help with mobility and recommended exercises.
Basic Medical Care:
- Remember to take medications as directed
Emotional and Social Support:
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Participate in recreational and social activities to improve the client's quality of life.
- Promote the client's independence and self-esteem.
Household Chores:
- Keeping the home clean and tidy, including light cleaning and laundry.
- Grocery shopping and other necessities.
- Assist with managing medical appointments and other obligations outside the home
Communication:
- Document and report any changes in the client's health or behavior.
- Complete daily logs and incident reports as needed.
Compensation: $16.69 per hour
