As a Sales Representative at Lawn Doctor, you will play a key role in leading our sales efforts and providing exceptional customer service. You’ll leverage your knowledge of lawn care and agronomy to build relationships with customers, identify their needs, and offer tailored solutions that improve the health and appearance of their lawns. Position Overview:

As a Sales Representative with expertise in agronomy and turf management, you will be responsible for connecting clients with personalized services that enhance lawn health and aesthetic value. Utilizing your agronomy knowledge, you’ll guide customers in selecting the best solutions for their needs, including fertilization, weed control, soil treatments, and pest management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and target potential customers through cold calls, networking, and referrals to generate new business.
  • Consult with Clients: Assess customer needs and recommend tailored lawn care solutions that improve turf health and appearance.
  • Sales Presentations: Present product and service offerings, explaining their benefits in a clear and compelling manner to customers.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals by managing client accounts and consistently closing deals.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and follow-up, leading to repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction, track orders, and manage service delivery.
  • Maintain CRM: Record all sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in the company’s CRM system to maintain accurate records.
  • Stay Knowledgeable: Continuously learn about the latest agronomy, turf management, and lawn care trends to provide expert recommendations to clients.
Qualifications:

  • Agronomy Background: A strong understanding of agronomy, turf management, soil health, and pest control is ideal. A degree in agronomy, horticulture, or a related field is a plus.
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, ideally within lawn care, landscaping, or agronomy. Experience in B2B or B2C sales is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both customers and colleagues.
  • Customer-Focused: Passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with clients.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a clean record for client visits and site assessments.
