Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. Operating Room - CVOR 13-week travel contract Day 4x9.5-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients. You are a Registered Nurse (RN) who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in creating personalized care plans for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems.

3x10s 7a-5:30p and one shift 7a-3p = 37.5 weekly
Primary Unit: CVOR…
Float: Main OR for primarily Ortho & General cases...
On-Call Requirement: on-call 24 hours SAT/SUN (one weekend per month), on-call 8 hour shift 2 weekdays either 3-11 or 11-7
BLS Required…
2.5+ Years of OR experience required…
Circulate required; Scrub is preferred…
Types of Cases/Experience Required: Valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, Dissection, transplant, VATs…Main OR: Strong experience in General and Ortho,
Standard cardiac (Cabg, AVR, MVR), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, Heart transplant, Lung transplant, VATs, VADs
Transplant experience (at least heart transplant), Standard Endovascular (TCAR, TEVAR, fistulogram)…
Must have, Endovascular, vascular experience (i.e. Endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, trans carotid artery revascularization (TCAR), AV fistula, Fem,-Pop bypass)....
Charting System: EPIC/OR Manager (PICIS)…
First Time Traveler's Accepted....

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor
Qualifications
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid/CPR certification required
Compensation: $85.00 per hour
