Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting the right home improvement products for their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable product information and recommendations to enhance customer experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring displays are stocked and appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers.
- Participate in training sessions to develop sales techniques and product expertise.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for accurate sales transactions and inventory management.
- Proficient in using computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Enthusiasm for home improvement and a desire to learn about new products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a customer-first mentality are essential for success.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must agree to drug, alcohol, and background checks.
